Windows Operating System Software
In all windows operating system today the registry is very important component and it is an integrated part of any windows operating system. It stores all the information about all other windows components including operating system other system software, Application Software and a computer's hardware specification as well i.e. all the peripherals associated with the machine. Precisely a registry is a central and hierarchical database in a windows operating system which is very much responsible for normal functioning of a computer machine where a window is running. The registry contains all the key values for any program, component installed on the machine and a slight change may lead a PC malfunctioning of it. Clean computer registry is one of the most important tasks for every Slow Pc.
Whenever we make any changes (any installation or uninstalling any application or any hardware component like printer, mouse keyboard etc) to any part of our computer system it directly reflects in registry and gets updated itself immediately. However many times when we uninstall, remove any program from the PC some unwanted items remains inside the registry and they may create some sort of abnormality in windows proper functionality. Maintaining a registry is really not an easy task always. We have to install or uninstall many programs during a machine's whole life cycle and more or less this registry gets corrupted.
Although there is a registry editor provided by Microsoft with all its operating system ever since registry concept came into existence (it was.ini files before in earlier version of windows which used to store information in separate files for each component, and which was comparatively not that good idea). We can open registry editor by writing regedit in run windows in start menu and it will open with all the registry keys value with all the programs and components listed here. However it is not a safer idea to alter any registry value changed from this registry editor because if we make a small incorrect change to the registry it may result in bad or failure of the whole windows and its applications.
I would suggest here an alternate and rather safer option which is to take help from any registry software available now days in online market. There are certainly few of them that seem to be best registry software and they work and protect windows registry to a maximum extent. I have seen many of them and used almost best registry software on various occasions. I found them really good and I feel they can be good and safer if you just take few precautions before using any registry software.
I would suggest you to take a backup before running any registry software so that in any case if it goes astray you may reverse all the changes as it was before. This automatic backup facility is also being provided by these registry software vendors and with the help of this facility you can also take a backup easily. If you want to take a backup from registry editor itself you can also do it easily by doing- open registry editor and export all the data present in the registry and save it anywhere in any convenient folder like c or d.
I am sure if you take these aforementioned steps before using any registry software/program you'll get certainly benefited by this and you will enjoy smooth running of your PC always. In other hand, we can say that a good Registry Cleaner software work as a Pc Doctor.
